As the year swiftly dances towards its close and the Festive Season descends on us, we find ourselves reflecting on the whirlwind of moments that defined our journey. Seeing all our valued Shareholders and guests arrive through the Kridzil gates has consistently been the highlight of our days. Your laughter, your stories, and the shared joy have painted vibrant strokes on the canvas of our year. These are the moments we want to hold onto, appreciate, and never let slip away. Over the past six months, our dedicated efforts have been a labour of love aimed at

ensuring that your home-away-from-home is even better than the last time you visited. We have worked tirelessly to infuse dreams into every sunrise and sunset, making subtle upgrades and crafting unforgettable experiences. Your satisfaction has been our North Star, and as the calendar pages turn, we find fulfillment in the shared stories, echoes of laughter, and bonds formed within these walls. Before the waves of time carry us into the embrace of 2024, we wish to share glimpses of the strides we've taken on this journey together.

Tidy Towns has been doing a tremendous job with its initiative to keep a pristine environment in Margate for residents and tourists alike. The Kridzil Team is putting forth its best efforts to support Tidy Towns in maintaining the cleanliness of the streets and the surrounding areas. Our staff undertakes the task of cleaning the Lagoon and Marine Drive in front of our buildings every single day. Additionally, they also clean the vacant field adjacent to Kridzil. This commitment to keeping the area clean contributes to the overall well-being of the community.

We are committed to ensuring that we maintain the Resort at its best for both our guests and valued Shareholders. Here are some of the improvements and enhancements we've implemented since our

last update:

Games Room

Two windows were installed in the games room to facilitate the flow of fresh air. The walls were also repainted to give the room a new and vibrant feel.

Block A Back-Up Water

The 1000-litre water tank that was previously located near the block’s parking area has been moved to the roof to improve the water supply during water and power outages.

Swimming Pool Garden

(ongoing)

The project to spruce up the swimming pool garden is ongoing. As of late, the garden boasts a variety of fresh herbs which guests are welcome to make use of.

Kitchen Cupboards

The kitchen cupboard doors and panels are currently being repaired in all units.

Solar Lighting

Solar lights have been installed across the property and entrance gates for ample lighting during the evenings, especially in the event of load shedding.

We have only received a handful of responses regarding our bathroom renovation survey, and we would like to extend an invitation to all our Shareholders to participate and help us gain a more comprehensive understanding of your needs. By doing so, we can ensure that our future refurbishments align with your preferences.

To help you recall, we would like to know if our Shareholders would want to keep the bath-shower combo, as is currently provided for in our unit bathrooms, or would you prefer that this be changed to a normal walk-in shower,

without the bath.

Father's Day

Dads are the original superheroes kids get to know, so this Father's Day, the Kridzil Team decided to treat our visiting dads just like the superheroes they truly are. During check-in, every super dad received a superhero-themed mug stuffed with sweet treats, accompanied by a card that said, "Happy Father's Day, Super Dad." We also created handy little coupon books filled with super dad perks that they can redeem whenever they please during their holiday or whilst at home.

Women’s Day

We consider it a privilege to recognise and show our heartfelt thanks to the remarkable women in our lives for everything they do. That is why, on Women’s Day, Kridzil took to spoiling all the incredible women visiting us with a mini survival kit, complete with body butter and hand and nail cream. After all, even Wonder Woman deserves a little pampering every now and then!

Heritage Day

On Heritage Day, we offered our guests the choice of three distinctly shaped wooden cutting boards. The boards were engraved with the words “Heritage Day 2023” as well as the Resort name, making sure our guests will always think of us while slicing and dicing.

Meet and Greet Braais

Our Meet and Greet Braais with Uvongo River Resort have quickly become the highlight of our guests’ stay. The atmosphere is always buzzing with laughter and the mouth-watering scent of braais wafting around as Hannes, the Maintenance HOD at Uvongo, keeps everyone entertained with his incredible keyboard-playing skills and captivating vocals. Make it a point to join us for the next one during your visit - trust us, you won't want to miss out!

Celebrating Love

We are all a bunch of hopeless romantics here at Kridzil, so when we had the chance to welcome two lovely couples - one celebrating an anniversary and the other their honeymoon - we went all out to sprinkle some romance on their stays.

For our anniversary couple, we decorated their unit with red hearts and towels folded into origami swans and a heart. As for our honeymooners, we surprised them with a bottle of bubbly, a bouquet of red roses, and delicious chocolates. We also adorned their love nest with red heart decorations and two origami swans.

We extend warm wishes to our Shareholders for a joyous festive season and a truly Merry Christmas. Additionally, we want to take this opportunity to wish everyone an early Happy New Year. The year 2023 has been an exciting one, marked by several upgrades, and we attribute our achievements to the continued support of our Shareholders. Without their support, our progress would not have been possible, and we sincerely appreciate their ongoing contributions. We value the input of our Shareholders and eagerly anticipate reconnecting with everyone during the festive season. As we approach this celebratory time, we encourage everyone to travel safely. Our Team is filled with positivity and enthusiasm, eagerly looking forward to welcoming everyone with open arms and big smiles.
